As a hobbie I engage in extra work for movies, tv shows, etc. Early December I saw a Facebook post for an upcoming app with Whitney Ward Photography asking to model. I emailed them my photo and social media and a few days later I was selected to be a participant. I provided them with my address, phone number, and clothing sizes. They then stated that I would be sent a contract to agree to allow them to use my photos for 3 month plus a sign on bonus for $1000 and $3,950 to pay a a stylist. I asked them several questions but instead of them answering my questions they sent the check. I took the check to 2 banks who confirmed it was a fake check. The check will be turned over to local law enforcement. No further contact has been made via email or text.
