Received text message to become Whole Foods secret shopper for $400 per assignment. I linked to what appeared as Whole Foods website and completed my name/address/email/phone. I also loaded app called Spaces by Wix that they said they used to communicate. Without any further interaction, today I received Priority Mail with $1900 check drawn on Central Minnesota Credit Union with instructions to buy 3-$500 American Express gift cards to use on purchases for future surveys, $400 for my compensation, and offering additional $150-250 bonus to complete assignment in next 12-24 hours. Immediately I did more online research and realized it was known scam.
