They sent a letter after I filed for my LLC. The letter asks for $72.50 for a Certificate of Status. If anyone needs a real certificate they can get one directly from the state for a $10 filing fee.

If you get a letter requesting $72.50 DO NOT PAY IT. It is a solicitation for a service that you can get for FREE OR significantly less than this fake company suggests. I, unfortunately, found this out after sending them a check, thinking that it was required, or so the letter stated. Their address is actually a UPS store. RUN far away from this.

Do not fall for this scam. They are sending invoice/mail requesting $72.50 to get a Wisconsin Certificate of Status. Fraud. You can get this status certificate for $10 on the Department of Finances website once you establish a business.
