I ordered a pair of hearing aids "C100" in May 2020. They sent an email the next day selling me an extra two years protection. Paid $179 plus &$27 (with 10% off offered).
then the battle began. Only polite email answers from Rae, with no results.
I cancelled it in July but no money was coming back.
Finally I had no choice but to tell the credit card company what happened and the credit card gave me back my money.
I tried to write a negative review about WiderSound but has to go trough them to approval before gets published?! Now, that is just pure [censored]ic, of course they not going to say "Yes you are right we should be hung"
Ron V.K.
Hope this helps

was "Picked Up by Shipping Partner" and will be delivered to USPS--- that USPS is "Awaiting Item." They make it sound REAL and very promising that this is on the up and up. However, they keep stating when we inquire that the hearing aids are with their shipper and they have no control. It truly appears, based now upon other complaints that this "company" WiderSound is a complete sham - and we should have surmised.
Don't buy hearing aids online - it is exactly as described by another reviewer: "This 'company' offers low-cost hearing aids "made in the USA" according to their website. Including free fast shipping and glowing reviews. In reality, they are a China-based firm that promises great service and satisfaction, but delivers neither. First, they provide no order details for days after purchase, then in order to get paid upon shipping, they provide an invalid tracking number which gets them paid." Then they keep blaming the "shipper" with whom they have no control, but there is no shipper that you can find that has your order.
I've contacted PayPal and filed a claim. I'll also report them to the FTC - in hopes to help other people. Many other older Americans may also have been scammed by these fraudulent people, out to get money from folks who are seeking some relief from not hearing! Many are too proud to admit they've been conned by a promise on a website. We may be old and foolish but want to help others so they don't lose their money needlessly!
We have now lost $199. We ordered these in good faith that maybe, just maybe there might be some foolish little gadget out there that COULD help my husband hear and would not be cost prohibitive!! But alas, no - only a scammer seeking an easy way out.
This website- widersound.com - did have an 800 telephone # listed, but the number now is not being shown - and when I saw it yesterday and called, it was as another person advised - off the hook - unplugged or whatever - since it just rang as busy!! We hope to stop any other people from getting involved with this sham of a company and getting ripped off!!
Now reporting them to consumer affairs. Run by scam artist girls.

After more then a week of unanswered inquiries, they provide a tracking update and a USPS tracking number. Unfortunately, that only refers to a 'shipping partner' named NEWGISTICS which says it picked up the package and it is on the way to the USPS. That was ten days ago with no movement or further tracking updates. That was the last I saw of my purchase and I have heard no more from WiderSound.com.
Their website is a total fake. Their reviews are made up and often use the same names for different reviews and use the same reviews over and over. They are not in the USA - they are in China, and I believe the details about being founded by a mother-daughter team are complete fabrications. Their customer service replies to e-mails by asking for the buyer to have patience and things will be alright.
They are not alright. I was scammed out of $99 and don't have the hearing aid I ordered.
