I applied for a position through indeed.com as an remote Education Support Services Specialist on December 23, 2020. I received a text inviting me to interview for the position on January 16, 2021 from someone named Meghan from Willard Health Care. She sent me an invite through Google Hangouts to interview with Stella Cole. After proceeding through the interview I was offered the position and told to be available online on January 18th for further information on training, I was also given a web address (willardschools.net) to review. On the 18th Stella emailed me a check that she claimed was to purchase necessary equipment and software. I submitted the check through to my bank and the check was put on an extended hold. I then did more research on the company and position and felt that the job was not legitimate. I called the number on the website provided by Stella provided me and was told that there had been several calls reporting that the same thing had happened to them and it was reported to me that there is no position and that the school believes someone is using there logo and website to scam with. At this point I can't do anything about the check that was deposited as I have to wait and see if it is rejected and bounces and then probably pay a fee.
