The property looks great, and the deal even better. A few days after the first inquiry, they get back to you saying that it's still available. But the owner is abroad and wants to use a third party "global real estate company specialized in property management" to take care of the whole transaction, including the transfer of funds.
The company mentioned this time was Savills: https://www.savills.ca/
Meanwhile the company's website seems legit, as soon as I typed "Is Savills legit?" on Google, a whole bunch of scam warnings came up. That's how I figured it was a fraud.
