I was contacted by a friend (I thought) about Federal grant money available to residents that I never would have to pay back or pay taxes on. Thought something was wrong right away because it was too good to be true. After giving out limited information I was informed that I qualify and the money would be delivered via UPS to my door. I would need to cut a small check compared to the amount received and a cashiers check would be given to me. (see image attached) I called my friend who said they were not on line. I informed them that they were being hacked and decided to report this to the BBB.
