Person by the name of Michael Ortiz calls from "William and Rivera Litigation, LLC" and says that they are trying to collect a debt from me on behalf of someone else- first red flag- creditors can not charge you for money for a debt you do not owe. They also pulled out said person's file and read to me the alleged debt in question. None of which registered with me. They then proceeded to tell me personal information about the person (I know who they are referring to but do not engage). They then tell me I can pay $500 USD to settle the claim. I asked to speak with the attorney in question and was denied. I google'd their information and sure enough found out that this company was lying and is a fraudulent debt collection agency. I asked for their website and they told me they did not have one. What company in 2015 does not have a website? Exactly. BEWARE of this scam.
