The person in question is the son of the owner of this company. He offered to do remodel work despite being an unlicensed contractor, as we found out later on. He led us on for four months saying at various points that the project was near completion, when in reality it was nowhere close. He also withheld materials for the project despite being paid well in advance. When confronted about not finishing the project, he stated that he had to take care of his family and work on other projects despite having made a commitment and after writing up a contract that all parties signed.
