I applied to remote positions on indeed. I got a text message claiming to have reviewed my application and to set up an interview with the hiring manager through a microsoft teams link. Text message and microsoft teams chat transcription is below. After a direct message interview process (red flag), they sent an email with an offer letter (didn't look professional - red flag). The offer letter needed to be signed and dated, and asked to send a copy of the front and back of my drivers license. The email also had a W4 form to fill out and send back. W4 form requires SSN, name, addresss etc. Drivers license has lot of personal info as well - full name, date of birth, drivers ID, address etc. They claimed to be from Wilson Capital, the microsoft teams had the picture of Tom Etheredge from the website but didn't show any info attached to the account. The email address used was [email protected]

Your training is going to be done online through your pc and phone.

The supervisor, who would be attached to you online, he/she would assign logs of duty daily and you would be required to work according to instructions, using the Microsoft office tools and the accounting software.

Now the function of the accounting software is to arrange, formalize and manage the data you have processed, sent to your supervisor via E-mail.

The first phase of your training will be centered on your MINI office set up and handling of tasks/assignments which will be done intermittently.

In the second phase, trainees will imbibe a directs stringent approach in getting themselves acquainted with their office equipment's(software & hardware) and company's payroll system and Also will they be assigned special projects to work on.

Whether or not you have an assignment or task to carry out, you will be paid $30.00/hr for 8hrs(Mon-Fri) as long as you are online during the stated training hours. "The primary reason behind your salary is being online during work hours".
