I believed that the person really had a puppy for sale as they sent me a video of it playing with their son, so I thought. They were not pushy and told me if I was interested I could come see the puppy. I spoke to my wife, she was a little leary, but also thought the video was real. We agreed to go see the puppy and they asked for a deposit so they knew we were really coming. Unfortunately we gave them the deposit with the assumption that if we were not going to take the puppy we'd get our money back.

With this all being said the address we went to was an empty brownstone in Philadelphia, PA.

I did not give any money, but the website seems suspicious. I saw them first posted on facebook so I looked at their website. They are calling themselves a rescue/shelter, but their adoption page lists designer puppies for only $300??? Also they keep saying "urgent go now" and have a couple of typos...

I received the following texts from them:

Thanks for the interested you have in adopting our Shih Tzu fur baby

Monetary Adoption Fee = $300

Supervised air freight processing = $195

Total = $495

We have everything ready for the Shih Tzu fur babies
