I found a dog on Wilson Pomeranian website that I was interest in purchasing. I received an email response within several days that the dog was available and I could purchase it for a total of $750.00 which included all out of state shipping charges. A contract was emailed which needed to be signed and returned and that the total purchase amount was to be sent via Paypal to @[email protected]. Paypal did not accept transaction so payment amount of $750.00 was made in two separate payments of $500.00 and $250.00 via Zelle. Delivery was to be made to my home by 2:30 pm on May 9, 2019 according to the shipper (included tracking # on emailed shipping document) via DK shipping Line. On the AM of May 9, I received a text from the seller and an email from a shipper by the name of Sky Light Shippers Transport Company (Garry Klen) that due to unfavorable weather conditions, the dog could not be air shipped in the crate provided by the seller and that I had to change from a ventilated crate to an electronic thermal crate at a cost of $2500 before the shipment could occur. I now realized this had to be a scam. I went to the bank to report & they confirmed that it more than likely a scam & to not send anymore money. The bank was going to investigate fraud. For several days after, we continued to get calls, texts & emails from both the shipper & the seller requesting the additional money for the crate change & that the seller could not retrieve the dog since the contract had the dog in our name. They were told that we either wanted the dog delivered (even though by now, we realized there never was a dog) or a refund of $750.00. To this date, we have received neither.
