In 2018 I was on my computer and there was an alert flashing and I touched it. I thought it was it was a legit security through my computer software. They said my computer's id code (Can't remember the terminology) was being used on the dark web. I could hire them to fix my firewall/security for $499. I gave them my banking information and they started to look at my computer remotely. My daughter came home at that time and asked what I was doing. They were on the phone, and she was very alarmed when she saw they were working on my computer screen. She told them to cancel any services, and we did not want any further services. I stopped payment on the check for 499. I was afraid to use the computer after that, so I had to purchase a new one. They call and leave voice messages and ask for different amounts of money for their services that day. Basically, talking to me for 30 minutes. Twice they sent threatening emails. The latest on 9/5/2024 with a new name of Win Security. I have copies of the two emails that I would like to send to you.

Scammer Claimed that I entered a contract back in 2018 for 5 Years with Win Security for security services, which I never did. That there was an automatic renewal policy and that I did not cancel as provided in the contract terms. They provided the following invoice # USWININTSEC77867798977. I have 24 hours to pay the said amount of $2,857.97 or my credit score would be impacted and I would be reported to a collection agency. I should contact Sam Kloet At the billing Department of Win Security 1-866-498-0504. The email came from billing manager [email protected]. The email contained various digits of my Wells Fargo Bank account as well as my address and location.I place this information on the Scammer page because I could not proceed without putting in location information. There was no location in the email so I could not provide.

Hi we have not lost any money from this company but we are being harassed for $6800.00 being taken out of our account. They put a virus on your computer with there phone number then when you call they say they are going to fix it for a price. We resolved the issue but not with Win Security. I am very surprised that 4 years later we are still being harassed. Please don’t fall for it

We were told they were McAfee Security for computer. We took it thinking McAfee was a good company so we accepted through online for a year $149.00 Winsecurity ask for our routing number and bank account number trusting this was McAfee we did it. A year later they contacted us saying we owed several thousands dollar's. Also said we signed a three year contract. Which we did not! We agreed to one year! The guy said his name was Steve Cole. We spoke to him and he let us know he had our routing number and account number he farther to proceed to take $799.98 to our account and it said SJC Financial. The first year was Winsecurity. We went to bank changed our account the bank refunded our money. Now as of June 9,2020 they are calling us again. We do not answer voicemail says to call 877-298-0595 and ask for Steve Cole that he will be taking $6800.00 out of our account. $6800 for computer security? He does not have our new account!! We don’t have an image just voicemails on phone

This company number flash across my screen told me to call that my computer was infected and they can help me this was a year ago then they called me on 12/5/19 and told me I owe 7000 dollars for their services they quoted the last 4 digits of my bank account and said they were going to take it out of my account they even left a voice message on my phone.

the guy I talked to was named Randy told them I did not have that type of money he start quoting different money options like could I pay 5000 and so on I said no he said they were going to take the money out of my account so I got distracted and hung up I got a call a little while latter from the same company only a different person who said I owed them 6000 dollars I told them I am on to them and that I was reporting them to the better business bureau
