They put a Trojan worm on your computer with a page you cannot get out of or turn off computer. If you click the "X" in the corner, another page comes up on top of that one. Instruct you to call a phone number to have it fixed. The pages will not go away. You cannot use your computer. They will fix computer. Must give permission to get into and control your computer. Cost varies from $499.00 to 399.00 for Senior to $299.00 for senior on Social Security. Demand your checking account number or credit card number to receive payment before the "fix" is completed. Will not complete until payment is received. Argue that you did something wrong. You must pay or computer will not be fixed. Sounded East Indian with heavy accent. Hard to understand them. After the arguing is over, they turn you over to a 'tech' to sell you a security system that ranged from 1 year - $577.00; 3 year - $777.00; 5 year - $977.00; Lifetime - $1,477.00. I refused the security and after arguing with them for a couple more minutes they hung up. It took two hours for them to complete the "fix". I had to change checking accounts, SSA, Retirement for husband and myself. They did not remove any money from my checking account, but had the info.
