I called the number attached to the email. The scammer said I needed to renew my windows subscription. I told him I have a WOW! computer and I do not use windows. He said he did not know what that was. Then the scammer said if I do not pay the $470, he will charge my account $7k. He then said if I unsubscribe I will have to pay $170 to unsubscribe. I said I was not going to pay him a nickel and hung up.

I received an email saying that my computer firewall security subscription will expire tomorrow and $470 will be deducted from my account. I called the number asking to be removed from the subscription and was given the run around, and they eventually hung up.

Received an email from the supposed "windows support center" saying that the firewall protection would expire tomorrow and they would charge $492 for autorenewal. The email was fishy, coming from someone named Maggie, but it said Charlotte on the email address, and there was a name I can't pronounce in the email address. I called them and could tell it was a scam. There is a special place for these people!

I received a e mail to renew a subscription for $470. and I did not have any such subscription. I called the phone number and told them that and they hung up on me.
The phone number they had me call to cancel is 844-234-3658 I told them they better not be taking anything out of my account Don't think they have my information. Just to let you know I think this was just a scam. LaVerne Farrish [email protected]

This is the second service renewal scam email I've received in two days. A pdf file of the message is attached. This alleged renewal will cost $449.00. I called the number and asked for someone to tell me about the "scam" email I just received from them. He replied "I must know everything about them." I said "I know nothing about your company except that you are trying to scam me out of $449. Let me speak to Maggie Marie in your billing department." Silence. Dial tone.

These scammers attempted to convince me that I had purchase a support package and it is now tome to renew. I informed them this seemed fraudulent and would not renew. The rep then stated I would be charged 99.00 early termination fee. I explained there was no early termination fee if cancelled on day of renewal. We argued back and forth with him trying to convince me to send money. He tried to get me to give him a check number and routing number for the check that I would send. I did not comply. He gave me this address to send the check: Vandaman, LLC, Memo-Cs, PO Box 90396, Houston, TX. He stated his home office was in New York but the billing office is in Houston. I let him know that I was not buying his scam and would report him.

I received an email "Maggie from Billing Department" Subject: Thank you for your order (#******)

Successful Payment-Auto Renewal confirmation. Company: Windows Support Center, LLC, Head Office, Redmond, Wa. 26399, United States of America. Date: 7/9/2020.

This was an auto renewal notice of my subscription for the "Firewall Security" of my Computer at home.

That it expires in 24 Hours and that 499.00 was going to be taken out of my checking.

Then if I wish to cancel.... it gave a Number: 1-855-733-7426 to speak with a cancellation officer to walk me through the process. I called- that's when I got suspicious: she tells me that there is a cancellation fee of 199 from my checking. Asked if I was in front of my computer at home. Which I was not. I got off the phone with the person to call my bank to see if it had been hit-it had not. I called back to inform them that they were frauds and I was notifying their ScamPulse.com about their scheme.

I was initially contacted on my computer by a pop up that said my computer had been hacked. A number was included to call for help. Foolishly I did call and the techs "fixed" my computer for a large sum. They told me my e-mail address had been stolen and that I was in danger of having my personal information being stolen. They added software to my computer like ad blocker and e-mail protection. They called two more times telling me that someone had hacked my computer again and also had stolen my IP address. Sadly I don't know much about technical things like this so foolishly paid for the repairs. They continued to call to do scans to check my computer and told me I needed to update my firewalls and a certificate. Again I fell for all this and could have bought a much better computer for what I spent on supposedly repairing the one I had. They called again a week telling me I was hacked again. I was suspicious by this time. They showed me some picture of the person who had supposedly hacked my computer. By this time I had done some research on computer security and did scans on my own computer and found no problems at all. I have good security on my computer. This last time they wanted over 700 dollars to do some kind of repair. They told me they were giving me a discount because I had been such a good customer. More like a fool! I just hung up on them. They continue to call and the other day I received an e-mail from them that included 64 other peoples e-mail address on it. I still have the e-mail, but have made no further contact with them. I can't say I lost money since I willingly gave them the money, but feel I have been taken advantage of. I think this company needs to be looked into. I looked up their phone number and it said Scam or Fraud on White pages reverse lookup.

Person calls, with a busy call center sounding background, and claims to be a Window Support Center technician warning me of a problem with my system and they can help if I allow them access to my computer. I got this call twice in the last couple weeks (during December 2017). Both times it was a male with an eastern Indian accent. Once I called them out on the scam they immediately hung up. The number they called from said New York, NY.
