Windsong sent us a bill for my husbands imaging on 4/29/2023 billed with incorrect coding that our insurance wouldn’t cover. When I called my insurance comp about it, they knew right away that Windsong simply needed to correct the coding and resubmit. I called Windsong back and advised them what my ins company said, and they agreed to fix it. A month later Windsong sends another bill saying we now owe almost $100 more than the last one and if we don’t pay it, they are sending us to collections. I called them back and asked to speak to management, she told me their coding is correct and that is what we owe. I called my insurance comp and they told me this is 100% fraud that Windsong is committing and we called them on a 3-way call. My insurance company told them they are wrong with their coding and we only owe the $20 copay, not the now almost $520 they are saying we owe! This went on for a year and a hal[censored] Finally yesterday… on 6/22/2024... We received a PAST DUE BILL of the $20 we owe them from the service done on 4/29/2023. I don’t even WANT to know how many people they extorted money from by doing shady stuff like this, but it needed to be reported.
