I had applied to several jobs online, a woman by the name of Ms.Hope Green from Windstorm Corp. contacted me via email about a possible hire for a remote online data entry position. She informed we would have a online interview via Google hangout. After answering questions she stated I was a good hire for the position. She noted she would be reaching out to me soon. after a day I heard back from Ms. Hope Green telling me I was hired, she then continue telling me about the pay as $30 an hr and paid training. She stated a Financial Officer was going to get in contact with me about sending me a check as I had to purchase a laptop, software and a fax machine, upon receiving the check i should deposit it and send proof of deposit, 3 days later I received a check via Overnight Fed Ex and it was a check of $2,450. I went to my Chase bank and deposited the check and sent a photo of the deposit slip via email to Ms. Green. 2 days later on 10/31/2019 I received 2 more checks now in the value of $1,980 each. My father looked into this and noted that a legit company would have sent a letter on their company letterhead , would include a phone number if I had any questions and the biggest red flag was that the Financial Officer main email address was from a Gmail Account. I went to my local precinct and spoke with the police, they informed me to get in contact with Chase Bank and the FTC and also the US Postal Inspector. My father reach out to the US Postal Inspectors of this situation. I went to my local Chase Bank that I had made the deposit was explain to them what occurred they put a freeze on my account, upon showing them the check they told me even the paper which the check was on was all wrong. They informed me that I have to go to the Chase Headquarters to get my account back. The US Inspector informed me they are shipping me a kit which to include the checks and any letters that accompanied the checks, also informed me not to reply to any of her emails, but Ms. Green has been flooding me with messages asking me if I have deposited the checks but as I was instructed to do so not to reply back
