When I attempted to install Microsoft Office Home and Student and encountered an error a tech support window popped up. They eventually contacted me by phone and took control of my computer to install the product. During this process they had enough time to copy everything that was on my computer and gave themselves administrative rights. At the end they asked me to pay $89.99 with a check (and would not accept a credit card). I refused to pay via check. They got no money but personal information has been compromised.
