Wishing Well Nutrition Scam Reports & Reviews (1)

My daughter went for a job interview at Wishing Well Nutrition. She is 17. The messages prior to the interview said she would make $12/hr and work approx 8 hours a week. Then when she got to the interview she said she was forced to join a MLM (Herbalife) in order to get the job, the cost for this was a little over $100. She did 10+ hours of training, which turns out the owner does not pay for on the job training (is this illegal??) and when she feels that she is ready to work alone will then allow her to get some hours where she is paid ("on average $12/hr"). As her mother I refused to sign the form that she was given a couple of weeks after training stating that I would allow her to join the company (she already paid the fee) as I felt like this was such a scam to attempt this on high school girls. The owner did give her the money back but did not pay her for the hours she trained. I spoke with the owner and she says this is how she has done this business for the last eleven years. She hired three high school girls on the same day, she wanted people to join her MLM and not work at the business. I feel like her way of doing business is very underhanded and all of the information is not given to the girls until they are already committed and spent their money.
