Type of a scam Employment
I am currently seeking employment and recently posted my resume on Career Builder.Com. I received a strange email from a company for a position that I did not apply for. I am concerned that this might be a scam. The email states that the position is for a distribution assistant and that I will be working with a distribution partner to obtain required products, report supplies and deliveries, take care of shipments, evaluate company providers, keep data on product costs and stock. I am concerned that a company might send me products and then bill me for them. The email stated that it was from a person named Paisley Arjona but the email is to [email protected]. Thus I believe this to be fake. I have not replied to the email or communicated back. I wanted to check with the better business bureau on what recommendations that you might have. Thank you for your assistance.
