Most of the time there is no one on the line if I answer. Sometimes it is a recording. Only once have I actually spoken to a person who berated me for "being as hard to reach as a teenager". They want a donation starting at $50, and will not take no for an answer. It felt like they were just trying to keep me on the phone and get information. I have stopped answering but that causes them to just change the phone number they are calling from.
