Work from home investment opportunity not as advertised Reports & Reviews (1)

- Miami, FL, USA • Nov 08, 2024

I am reaching out regarding a recent purchase I made through a company for a course/service that was advertised on Instagram as a way to "generate income from home," The advertisement made it clear that the program would provide specific benefits or opportunities, which led me to believe I was investing in something that would directly help me achieve "business success," by working from home. I would learn how to be promoting and sharing links through emails.

However, after enrolling and engaging with the content, I was extremely disappointed to find that the materials and services provided were not in line with what was promised. Instead what I received was misleading. This is not what I was led to believe that I would be purchasing, it has not met my needs or expectations.

As the program did not delivered the value or results I was promised, I requested a full refund for my purchase with an email stating that I did not wish to continue with this program, as it is not what was advertised, and I felt I was misled by the promotional materials. The person whom I sent the email wrote me back saying that "she clearly did not explain things well enough so that I could understand all the aspects", then she sent me a no return policy paragraph that only she has because I never got a copy of that agreement. and frankly the advertising I had received magically disappeared. She claims that I have received the services which is not correct because according to her I had to make more purchases otherwise I wouldn't be able to move on. !!!!

And I did not buy any of her products! so I did not move on THIS IS SMART MANIPULATION .. they do this all the time and clearly get away with it, keeping $150 from clients!!

She basically waited for me to purchase the domain first knowing that right after doing so there was no turning back because there was a no return policy for that purchase (which was not shared with me, like I mentioned before there is no trace what's so ever of what i signed) instead of letting me know immediately and even before making the purchase of the domain, that there where going to have to be more purchases after that and most importantly not telling me the prices that the purchases were going to cost me. That was pretty sneaky.

This is how things went:

After I bought the service I received a thank you email from [email protected] with my order confirmation subject "Computer Network " this email specifically notes that this would be a one-time only charge and not a monthly billing. My charge appeared on credit statement as: Digital Resources. (which I never received)

The day after I receive a phone call from a specialist called Jason (425)223-3632 that wanted to get me started. He was asking me various questions about me and my husband's income that made me realize immediately ( from past experiences) that what I had bought was something that you had to buy something else? He confirmed this and at that point I tried guessing if it was going to be $1000 0r $2000 dollars more, he told me it was $10,000.00 what he was selling ... I immediately told him I was not interested. He then gave me the phone number of costumer service who would be answering and that I had to mention that i was calling about the "normal plan", and there I would go ahead.

When I called customer service a Mrs. Deana Eddy answered and she was to be the person handling me with the service. I noticed from the emails she sent me that her title was Master System Instructor. she has many phone numbers (904) 3826959 she told me that to be able to go ahead with the program I had to make 2 more purchases called the Performance Blogging Set Up for $48.95 which was for me to have a domain created and for the first 90 days Hosting was another $49.00, ( which I payed with Pay Pal ) she also mentioned that after the 90 days I would have to make a monthly payment of $49.00, to remain and keep using the companies domain or platform.. So I went ahead even though I knew that you can usually get a domain for around $10-$20 per year for a common TLDs like .com or .org

Finally I spoke to her yesterday with a 3 hour phone call appointment where she was supposed to help me set up the domain I had purchased!!! she then started speaking about all the products that where selling on her and the CEO's Mr. Rory Wricker platform called VeloVita, when she was explaining them to me I was under the impression that these were going to be the products that I would be selling for their company ,nearly at the end of our call she said that in order to be able to start and get the my domaine I would have to make another purchase,(??) of these products. There where 4 different options of promoter packs that started from $199 to $399 to $799 to $1599 USD. To add she also said that the only way I can start up and sell these products to make my own income through their platform I would have to have 3 monthly paying customers !! that the goal was to have people selling under me.. kind a like the pyramid sales that Vitalife was doing in the past. I was in a spot because again I had to make MORE purchases in order to move on.

By buying products I would then start earning what she called the company's BV's.

At this point I really felt unlead.

This was all going far from learning how to "links shares".

If the advertizing that I had received on October on my phone had ever mentioned all these purchases or better yet when or before I bought the domain and hosting period from her , if she had mentioned that I had other purchases to make to go ahead , I would have never bought this service and would have not wasted her time and mine together with my hopes.

This way of engaging is so diabolical organized,
