New Facebook friend, appeared to be someone I know, but was sharing false information about a W.H.O cash donation

They said it was a medical data entry. Asked for info and a person that I have know for years told me it was safe but then after they got personal info of mine I realized it was a scam.

Job Offer on Facebook for work from home positions paying $25 per hour via direct deposit weekly. when you like that post someone named Jennifer Gary messages you in your messenger and prescreens you for the position. Then you are asked to download "hangouts" app and asked for your email address and a supervisor will contact you on Hangouts from The World Health Organization. After a lengthy interview and several questions regarding your work history you are asked questions such as if you have any credit cards and if you have any cc debt and who u bank with and and for how long? Then you are given the results of your interview as to how you scored and then a job offer and welcome to the company. Mind you it is 2AM CST! Then you are asked for your full name, address, cell phone number and carrier and if its pre or post paid. Then u are informed of the equipment u are to purchase with their money before your one week training is to begin which is also paid... of course! Then you are told about your benefits package and asked if this will include your family, children or are you alone (exact words!) You are then told that they need your credit card info for their file on you and when told I don't have a cc I was asked for bank account number, routing number, and name on acct so that funds for the equipment could be deposited in the amount of $35000!!!!! They were adamant about me using my Navy Federal Acct and not Wells Fargo and even sent a photo of a woman's hand holding a dep receipt in the same amt from Navy Federal Bank. The conversation ended immediately and I deleted my Hangouts App. Obviously it was a scam.....

I was contacted on Facebook about a payroll employment and I was promised 1,850 every week and when I found out that they wanted me to send them $1,000 I told them no I’m done I don’t want to do this anymore and they said ok and then on 08/14/2021 they deposited 626 into my account and they started sending me messages that I was stealing from the company and when my husband said that we will send the money that they had deposited into my account to cash app so they can get their money back and cash app wouldn’t let them get the money back and now they want me to go to the store and get gift cards for them

I Was notified by PayPal that I had something posted to my account. I went to my PayPal account and there was an invoice from the world health organization for $35. I contacted PayPal this morning and they told me how to cancel the invoice but it is alarming how this got into my PayPal account in the first place!

I was contacted by this person via email from Craigslist. I had an ad out about giving piano lessons. He said he would send me a check (and did) of $2,530 and I was to send $2000 of it to a "nanny" for his "daughter." I would periodically get texts from him as my number was on my resume. He said the nanny was needing money and he was "really worried" about it. So I deposited the check, the money was too good to pass up. 10 days later the check was returned to me and I was charged a fee for the bad check, luckily nothing else was owed to the bank. It's basically your classic moral story of "If something is too good to be true, then it probably is." Lesson learned. DO NOT trust this fake check or someone posing as Brigham James contacting you. Also side note, I later googled this after contacting the bank and found out on how people calling the numbers and getting no answer because they are using a "text me" app or some app service that allows you to just text and no calls. This guy always texted or emailed me, and never called. BEWARE.

this man saying his name is Raymond Moe says he is in the military and is entitled to some money and wants you to send an e-mail to the World Health Organization and they send you an e-mail wanting your license number and then they send an e-mail telling you to send in all your banking info and send them 5.000$ and in return they will send you 90,000 $ just FYI all i sent them was my address nothing else and I am thanking Dr.Phil for informing people of possible scams because these people are good and very relentless and they dont like taking no for an answer because that is when they start saying ugly things to you and making you feel like crap
