I was contacted about a job offer which included depositing checks as a task. They would email me a picture of the front and back of a check and want me to deposit it into my account. I contacted the bank and they said they have no history of a check for $3500 being made. So I’m assuming they wanted me to make purchases and then be screwed in the end once the check would eventually bounce. Uploading our text thread now from email and discord (the “supervisor” wanted to communicate on discord).
