Wow Home Trends Reports & Reviews (20)

I received a package yesterday (10/15/23) from Wow Home Trends. I opened it and saw a Knee Sleeve in size S/M. First of all, my size would be a L/XL. The charge on my account was done on 7/31/23, almost 3 months ago. I have disputed this charge with my CC company which they are taking care of. I hope no one else is a victim of this obvious scam.

I selected one ball to purchase and then clicked credit card as the payment method. Not only did it immediately charge my credit card with no order review page. It immediately charged my card for three ball package.

I had the same initial experience of no product over a month after my credit card had been charged, AND not being able to get through via telephone; but, the company did respond immediately through email, offered to cancel my order, and promptly credited my account. I disagree with the policy of charging for the product well before shipping (and not communicating reasons for delays), but in all fairness, they were responsive in the end. Hopefully others will have the same experience.

In Nov 2022 The Company
HOME TRENDS advertised on Facebook.
I ordered 3 Dig Balls ( battery operated ,)
& A Chew Bone . Charges on My
MEMBER'S FIRST CREDIT DEBT CARD
were $27,71. $26.65 &$ 111.95

I Ordered 3 Dog Balls ( battery operated) plus A Chew Bone for My Dog last November ...Total Charge on my Visa Debt
Card was $111.95 . To date I have not received ANYTHING & I am unable to talk to ANYONE when I call 844-852-6886.
I get A Phony Recording that directs Mt to
another phony voice that says they are busy .

Received an ad for the Peppy Pet Ball from Home Trends in my email late last November, 2022. Very impressive ad. Never saw anthing like the Peppy Pet Ball before, and I was excited to get it for my dog. Placed an order for the Peppy Pet Ball online from the company's website on December 2, 2022. I was thinking that it would be a nice Christmas gift for my dog. Paid $50.94 for this order which includes the price of the item plus shipping cost. I thought that was pricey, but I love my dog and consider that he's worth it. There was no mention in their ad about how long it would take to receive the Peppy Pet Ball, but considering that their company is in New York City and I'm on the West Coast near Los Angeles, I assumed I would receive my order within 2 weeks. I based that assumption upon the consideration that I've ordered items before from Amazon.com, Ebay.com, or from a website on numerous occasions from companies based on the East Coast, and I've always received my order within 2 weeks at the most. -- I did get an email confirmation with a receipt from Home Trends, but there was no tracking number. -- 2 weeks after placing my order for the Peppy Pet Ball with Home Trends, I wrote a polite letter to them mentioning that I had not yet received my order and asked them to supply me with a tracking number. Got no reply. A few days later, I called Home Trends on the phone complaining about the delay of my order. I was told me that they had moved their warehouse to a new location which was causing the delay. I was told that my order would be processed immediately and that I would receive it within a few days. Didn't receive it. I was very disapointed that I had not received the Peppy Pet Ball before Christmas. -- Called Home Trends on the phone again, and was told that my order would receive priority attention. They apologized for the delay. -- A week later, I received a reply in my email to my email letter. The following is a copy of their letter: "Thank you for your email. My apologies for the late response. The management has placed your order as a TOP PRIORITY to be shipped out next week. You will receive a tracking number once the package leaves the warehouse. Again, we apologize for any delay." However, by the end of December, I had still not received my order. -- Wrote a few more email letters to Home Trends, but got no reply. Called Home Trends on the phone on January 9 complaining that they had not fulfilled their promise and that they had not replied to my email letters. I was told that they were overloaded with orders and that I would receive my order by the end of the week. It never came. -- Called Home Trends again the following week, and I was told that I would definitely receive my order within a few days and that a tracking number would be sent to me by the end of the day. Never received a tracking number. Friday, January 20, had passed, and I had still not received my order. -- Called Home Trends again yesterday morning, January 23, and the lady who answered told me that my order was being shipped out that morning and that I would receive a tracking number by the end of the day. Never get any tracking number. Tried calling Home Trends again this morning, but could only get their outgoing message saying to leave a message and that they will call me later. I believe that as much as I believe in Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy. -- It was only this morning that I learned about this Scam Page (complaint page) for Home Trends. After reading all the complaints above from others about Home Trends, I realize I'm not alone in the terrible experience I've been having with them. -- I'm going to write another to Home Trends demanding a refund on my order. ENOUGH WITH THEIR DISHONESTY AND NONSENSE! If I do not get a refund from them in a reasonable time, I will definitely report them to the Better Business Bureau. They have scamed me and many others, and a stop must be put on this! -- Incidentally, I just found out that the "Wicked Ball", which is the original ball that Peppy Pet Ball is imitated from, sells for just $23 at Walmart. It's a better ball and sells for less than ½ of what I paid for the Peppy Pet Ball. – At least I can get a full refund from my bank (Fraud Department) if I don't get one from Home Trends. So, no loss there. – I hope you'll learn from my experience and the experience of others NOT to buy from Home Trends. DON'T GET SCAMMED BY THEM!

Im waiting on a response from the company, but was linked to this from a "best gifts of 2022" or something to that extent of post, then looking over the company looked legit. I'm normally more careful and I should have been in this scenario as well.
One thing i wanted to note is that the customer support response i got right after I sent it - 4:30pm CST came back as my email arrived to them at 5:30 am. Clearly this company is not supported out of New York. Looks like that time zone is in China somewhere.

Wishing everyone luck! if they dont give me a refund hopefully my credit card company will.

In May I saw an ad for a peppy pet ball. I thought my puppy would like it. It was pricy but the ball supposedly got good reviews. I now think they were fake reviews. When you don't receive it, you can email and they will respond, telling you that they are backordered. I have written several times and they make excuses. I realize that I'll never get my money back. Just wanted to warn others.

I ordered 3 of their dog balls that are supposed to entertain my pup for $150.00 never received them. Have emailed them 5 times. always email me back that they are back ordered due to high demand. Now I am here reading reviews and find out its a scam. They were referred to me by AARP! NOW I'M REALLY PISSED OFF. I am going to report both to the BBB IMMEDIATELY!

Do not order anything from Wow Home Trends. I ordered peppy balls in December and they never sent me the products despite numerous emails with them and their promise that the product is on its way. The order has tracking but I wonder if it is legit or part of their scam. I urge those with the unfortunate experience with this vendor to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Beware of buying anything from Wow Home trends. Especially peppy pet balls. I ordered one back on Dec.8th and have not received anything yet. Emailed inquiries and got return mails from noreply URLs saying someone will get back to me , reviews several times. When I finally got someone on the phone who informed me that they were looking into it. As of today no response from them. I wish I had seen these reviews before ordering and saved myself a lot of grief. I am also going to contact Bon Appettit magazine regarding this scam since they were advertising this product on their website. So buyer beware!

BTW, I also sent an email to the Google Ads Dept about this ad and the company. I haven’t heard back from Google yet. 1/19/22 , David

Today is Jan 19, I took one more chance at calling these people and to my surprise I got an answer. I informed the lady that I had not received my purchase and that wanted a full refund. She pulled up my order using my email address and stated that I would receiving the full amount within 3-5 working days based on my banks refund policy. When I insisted she repeat that statement she said my refund was processed and on the way. So at this point all I can say is we’ll see if it was the truth. I will give you an update regardless of which way this goes.
Note: Ten days ago I sent them an email ( to serve as written notice of my intent ) stating that I wanted a full refund. Upon checking my mail I found a reply on the same day stating that I was being refunded the full amount and the money would be in my account in 7 working days. Today is 11 days from from the email statement. Nothing refunded up til today. The lady on the phone didn’t indicate that a refund had already been processed for me and processed it today. There are just too many inconsistencies going on with these people.
I wish everyone who is having trouble with these people a lot of luck, and keep trying to call them.
Sincerely, David

Details of my experience are documented on this web sites comment/ review section. Please see my info in that section.
Ordered product Peppy Pet Ball and 2 yrs extra warranty on Dec 3
Got email confirmation on Dec 20 with USPS tracking number, attempted to track same day. USPS indicated they Did Not receive package into their system. Next day tried to call, got recorded message stating due to Covid and high holiday volume they were unable to answer my call and to leave message with order number when prompted. The “prompt never happened”. Went to the web site and put in a complaint, 3 days later I got email saying their customer care team was reviewing the complaint and would get back to me in 24-48 hrs. In the mean time I have sent 3 other emails, of course NO REPLY to those. Note: their online sales ad stated to be careful of poor quality imitations, WHAT JOKE after reading some of the other review comments. Same goes for their home page statement “Award Winning Customer Service”. Wish the Post Master General could help since they used a USPS tracking number. Albany N.Y. Better Business Bureau should check into the address posted on the web site.
These people are trash and should be fed to the wild dogs with rabies. I have never paid more than $6 - $8 for a toy for my Rat Terrier since I am retired and on S.S. and never will again.
Sad, Unhappy and Not Very Hopeful

Hope I have met the 250 word criteria now so I can get some sleep.

Same thing is happening to me as above statements from Sonichouse and Joany Boyer. These people should be fed to the dogs (wild rabid ones that are carrying rabies). I ordered on Dec 3 , got email confirmation stating product was in stock and would be shipped with 7-10 days. No further communication until Dec 20 giving me a USPS tracking number. I went to USPS tracking site where it stated that an electronic notice was received from Wow Home Trends indicating that a package for me was going to be coming to USPS for delivery to me. However it went further to say that that package was not received into the USPS system, that is where the package trail ends. On Dec 20 after filing a complaint their reply was that their customer service team would review said complaint and get back to me within 24-48 hrs. On Dec 22 I called and got a recording stating that due to Covid and upcoming holiday they were unable take my call , and to leave a message when prompted. Well there was No prompt!. Just yesterday I sent 2 more emails to there support team. The web site says they have an “Award Winner Customer Service”. NOT TRUE AT ALL
I ordered 1 pet ball and 2 yrs extra warranty, total was $60.98. I bank with Chase so I am going to contact their fraud dept. Now I ask is there any way that we can hang these people since they fraudulently acquired a tracking number from the USPS. Can the U.S. POST MASTER GENERAL provide any help. Can they be found through the Better Business Bureau in Albany N.Y.
I had something similar happen involving an online company named canvas.n@outlook, I got 3 face mask instead of a gas powered garden tiller. PayPal didn’t stick with me until it got settled, I ended up not getting any money back.
Thanks and good luck to everyone that falls victim to these thieves.

Ordered two peppy balls for Christmas, one worked one did not, it sits motionless. It has been charged numerous times and does light up but does not move or interact with our dog in any way. I have emailed company twice now and no one responds. They evidently don’t back there products and there appears to be no customer service. Be very aware, you too may be the owner of a $40 worthless non moving ball!

Just like Joany Boyer, I to ordered 2 of these Peppy pet balls. Same issue, 3bl weeks passed and though I kept trying every way possible to contact them, since on order they said in stock allow 7 to 10 days for shipping. Nothing. Since these where Christmas presents, my daughter decided to order the wicked ball from Amazon. It showed up on December 22, 3 days from order. Meanwhile, I started a complaint with PayPal. All of a sudden, on December 20th, I get a tracking number from them . But says arriving December 27th. I figured well at least the order is coming. My some miracle, the 2 peppy balls showed up December 24th! So we charged 1 of each so our Corgis could play with these. The wicked ball from Amazon is awesome, does everything it said. The Peppy ball is a weak imatation of the patented Wicked balls. Does nothing but rolls around, no interaction with dog, no smart anything. So on Dec 26th started to contact Wow Home trends for their supposed 30 day return policy. Guess what? The link to create a return specific to a product is dead. Phone just goes to recording claiming because of volume they disabled voice mail. Emails just get an automated response, nobody will talk to you. Because the PayPal dispute went to their favor since they provided a shipping number, I can't start another dispute regarding this even though the product isn't what they advertised, and they have returns.allowed on site for 30 days. So I might be stuck with $75 worth of useless product that not even my dog will play with. Don't order from this site, because even if you get something I gurentee it won't come close to what you ordered. They do seem to respond to authority if you bring them into the transaction and claim you where frauded.

Please my comments and review. I didn’t even get an arrival date. Didn’t use PayPal so I’m going to find out if Chase Bank Fraud Dept can help in this matter since I used my bank card. I can’t say on this public viewed site what I think of these people and what I think should be done to them. I have resolved myself to not letting this ruin my entire year like it did my Christmas. Have a great year.
David

didnt get the balls almost a month

Saw ad for Peppy Pet Ball on google. Ordered. Website said orders shipped within 2 days and allow 7-10 days for shipping. 3 weeks later, I contacted through website contact form and received no reply. Looked for online reviews and read that this is a possible scam, no product received, and no response from company. I contacted my cc company to dispute charge. About 3 days later, received an e-mail from company that money had been refunded and order canceled due to cc company reversal. Don’t fall for this ad. I’m not sure what they’re attempting to do but I got lucky and was able to get my money. The next person may not be so lucky.
