Wowser e Services scammed me out of $1200.00 promising me security services on my computer. I never received any protection and cannot reach them. They took the money out of my checking account on 2/11/2021. I have called several numbers several times and they claim to be a third party and do not have any information

lAST NIGHT MY COMPUTER LUCKED UP WITH A MESSAGE FROM MICROSOT SAYING CALL THIS NUMBER OR SOME OF YOUR INFORMATION COULD BE IN DANGER. So I called 1/844/295-0522. Said they were a third party 'WOWser E service" out of New Jersey. They did unlock the computer. This morning I looked it up in the internet and nothing comes up for New Jersey. They did unlock the computer and charged me for $800.00. I am wondering if this was a scam and if I need to cancel my debit card. they said there names were John Miller and James Martin ID 1376. CREDIT CARD WOULD NOT GO THROUGH so they had me write out a check and send it elctronicly, so far nothing has been taken out of my account.
