A 'business' called my husband up with a No Caller ID to locate my father and claims that there is a pending court case against my father and needs to serve documents to him. This person claims to be a process server and supervisor calling himself Bradley Lewis who is working for W&R Associates. This 'representative/business' has all of my father's personal information, his relatives, and all his relatives' phone numbers. This person has also contacted my children who are under 18 for my father's information. The number that they provided for contact is 1-888-493-3996 and a reference number of which my husband did not want. When we called back, not only was the rep unwilling to assist without a reference number and not able locate this 'process server' but was hostile and withholding his business's address and additional contact information. This person who claims to have a case is preying on my father who is an elderly, immigrant and is calling up his relatives to try to get information about him or extort money from them. When researching this phone number on the internet, many people have received these calls this past year especially around the holidays. I am truly worried this business is preying on and bullying innocent, vulnerable people with illegitimate court cases by their tactics of age and racial discrimination and harassment. I am requesting that the BBB call the provided number above, seek to see the legitimacy of this 'business' and have them shut down for fraudulent activity and attempting extortion.
