Presented self on WebSite Thumbtack- told me he was NJ licensed plumber (can’t find him on list). After job completed- wanted more money. Made no payment stipulations until job done- then demanded cash. Bank was closed and not able to get- so gave him check made out to business.- Then wanted me to give him check made out to “cash”.- He would not provide a receipt. When I said “no” to giving him a check made out to cash- he then wanted one to him personally. He aggressively pursued me to get cash with all kinds of schemes to get cash. As things escalated- I said I need a recepithet- and he sent one from “Acme Co” as the business name.- When asked about this- he said he uses the same receipts for his taxi business.-
