I was searching for a cancer clinic which did metabolic therapy for cancer. I found Care Oncology Clinic online and reached out to them about their services for cancer patients. A patient coordinator by the name of Sapphire Jaeckel called me and explained to me their services. the cost and the duration of my enrollment options, and the doctor who would be working with me was Dr. Paul Zhang whom I never saw or had an appointment with I enrolled in the COC on February 2, 2024. And, I paid them $2, 495.00 by credit card. I provided all of my medical records information pertaining to my health and cancer (all scans, MRi's, x-rays and doctor's notes)
They had me go to Quest labs to have lab test completed and then I had to upload all my medical information to the portal they provided. I never even spoke with a nurse. They never even reviewed my labs or medical information to my knowledge.
When I kept emailing about my initial appointment they never had one available and then they stopped emailing me back. No appointments ever took place with COC personnel.
When I kept asking Kathleen Rycz about an appointment she kept telling me it would be coming in March. The appointments never came. Finally in an email from her she informed me that no appointments were available and that I could resign from the clinic and get my money back. I needed to sign a termination letter which I told her to send me.
I never canceled any appointments because I never received an appointment with the nurse (Susan) or with the oncologist doctor they have on the web site Dr. Paul Zhang.
Yes, I signed and returned a patient termination letter. I still have my copy. I received an email from Kathleen Rycz in records who told me that they received my termination letter and now the records department had it and would process my refund. That was over a month ago. And, now when I email them no one answers me. And the address on the website is an abandoned office building on Saunders Ave. in Richmon, VA. I never received any health service that was promised by phone or through the emails.
I also have pictures of the office building. I truly believe this is a scam business and I would like your assistance in helping to locate these people and get my money back and hold them liable for fraud. And I do not want another sick cancer person to notify this business thinking they are legit because they are a scam.
