A man texted me about a vehicle I have for sale. He insisted I get a report from the website lienchecker.com. It cost 25 dollars. They did send a report, which is how they get away with this, but the report was worthless. Then he texted me back and wanted me to go back to the same website and spend another 25 dollars for what he called a 'window sticker'. I ignored that text. Then the next day I get a call from him from an 888 number. He knew my name, although I had not given it to him. He claimed he was at work, and thus calling from that wierd number. I told him to pound sand.

I hope the scam was just to get the 25 dollars. My fear is contracting a virus on my computer because I went to their website.
