I am trying to sell a vehicle on Kijiji and Facebook Marketplace. I believe the scammer found my phone number on my advertisement in Kijiji. The person, "Amelie", directed me to a website (www.thevinexpert.com) to file a request for a vehicle history report. I directed the "buyer" to the Kijiji site where a Carfax report is linked in my ad. She insisted I use the "VE" website that she texted to me. I deleted and blocked the number. This is the 5th or 5th such attempt to phish me since I listed the vehicle 3 weeks ago.
