Almost fell for it

I went looking for some kittens after both of our cats passed within a month. I reached out to this seller, but they have a new number (321) 999-3846. Similar story to the first post. They’re now in Florida because their mom died and she was the one doing the breeding. I told them I needed to talk to my husband first and they bugged me for the email response at midnight. Which is 3am in Florida. I’m so glad I googled first, though I wouldn’t have sent the full amount before having the kitten in hand anyway, at least I didn’t fall for it. So sorry to others who found our after the fact.

He is at it again

This scammer placed an ad with his contact number 407-972-4256 has his location in the ad in Sacramento CA, but he'll email you a sob story that a family member died and cats bring back memory of dead family member. he'll tell you that the kittens are in FL or some other state and that he can ship it. he'll ask you the usual questions scammers ask , are you married, how old are you, do you have kids, are you a breeder, have you had a pet , he'll email you lots of pictures after you reply to them

I answered an ad for a British blue for sale. We agreed on the price and shipping, I sent the money and when the kitty was being shipped of course there was a problem and demanded more money, I feel so stupid! But my daughter just lost her cat of 15 years and I wasn’t to surprise her, so I ignored a few warning signs but dang it! I google so many things and couldn’t find any warnings from other people. So I’m hoping to help someone else.
