Last April there were ads running in the Denver Post (I intend to contact them too to let them know they are selling ads to scammers) for a closeout sale on Merrill Moab 3 boots for the really low prices of $27 and $25. Had I seen this on social media I'd have thought "this is too good to be true", but the fact it was in the Post gave it credibility. Anyway, I went to their ad online and ordered 2 pairs on April 27th. Via email I received a very formal purchase confirmation that had 4 each logos from Norton, Google Trusted Store, and ScamPulse.com Accredited Business across the top. That seemed like overkill, but I thought Xanthosoma is not a known business, so I guess they're making a point. They also sent me a link for tracking software and a tracking number at ALL-IN-0NE-PACKAGE TRACKING-17TRACK that I'm also assuming is bogus. They said I could expect the boots in 15-20 days. As time went on I kept checking the tracking and it would report "arrived at customs in China; clearing customs, arrived at customs in US" and on and on, along with a lot of writing in Chinese. I emailed their support desk several times during this period and someone named "Julia" would tell me to be patient, they were on their way. I was also getting suspicious during this time and called my credit care company to see if there were any strange charges. They said the $52 charge had posted the day after my purchase, but nothing else had come in and they had no fraud alerts for this company. Finally today (day 45 since the purchase), the tracking site said my package had been successfully delivered to my address, but they are nowhere in sight. I have emailed the support desk again but haven't heard back.

This company has a pretty sophisticated website at Xanthosoma.com that lists all sorts of drastically discounted camping/outdoor gear.
