A man called claiming to be with Xcel Energy. He tried to disconnect my electricity by talking about disconnect notice while I w[censored]ding my real bill. I only gave him part of my adress accidently.

I have received several phone calls from a man pretending to be working for Xcel Energy threatening to turn my power off if I do not pay my "outstanding balance". I'm not sure if it is the same man that calls, but they have used a few different phone numbers. They are also saying that the only way they will take the payment is with a prepaid card.

Received a call at our business stating we were behind on payment and power would be cut off in 30 minutes if we did not call and make arrangements before then. I didn't write the number they gave down but the caller id showed 806-291-4226. Within 15 minutes they called a second time but hung up after they said they were from Xcel.
