I received an email that appeared to be from Xfinity advising me that my credit card was about to expire, which it was, and I needed to update my information on file. I attempted to update online and put in the new credit card number. I then tried to get a confirmation but failed. I then went in person to the local Xfinity office and was informed the email I received was sent by a scammer. They showed me it was sent by [email protected]. They suggested I change my password, which I did, and cancel my credit card, which I will do. Any advice would be appreciated.
