The scammer called me and said they saw my resume on the jobsite Indeed and wanted to know if I was interested in employment with them. I said yes, very excitedly. They sent me a welcome message thru email, filled out a W4 which included my SSN#,NAME, ADDRESS. The job detailed that I was to inspect packages, wait for approval of shipping label and reship to the shipping label address. Then, upload receipt and take pictures of the item I recieved. I was to be paid a base pay of 2400.00 a month plus bonuses for packages I mailed off on time. When I found out it was a scam last Friday, I contacted the manager Mac Chadwick, he told me the compang wasn't a scam, he had proof of being a legit business, and that past employees were slandering the website bc they didnt return the merchandise to their company, and would like for me to still work for them, but if I still wanted to put in my notice then as soon as i ship the packages I already have, with proof of receipt, I'll get paid as soon as I uploaded proof of shipping back to them. I told him I was no longer interested, and to never contact me again. I asked him about pay and where to send the merchandise that I have, he said as soon as you mail back the packages thats on the original shipping labels, you'll get paid. Yesterday, I mailed back the packages to the address on the package and got receipts as proof. I got on their dashboard to submit the shipping receipts and it won't let me log into my account. I tried to call them, no one answers or it rings and then a busy signal. No one nor nothing related to this company exists now. Please be careful, eventhough I did research before accepting the job, it seemed legit. It had an address, phone number, website, email address, didnt ask for money, sent me a W4 form for tax deductions, everything a legit job would send for employment. I hope this happens to no one else. Please please be careful!!
