I was contacted via email in regards to my resume as I had posted it to numerous job board sites seeking employment. After requesting more information, I was redirected to the HR person, Ashley Bryson, who sent me documentation (attached) of the company and job description. It was a work from home Independent Quality Inspector position where I was to receive packages, open and inspect them, them reship them. I looked up (or so I thought) the company, Yasuragi Insurance, and there was a website claiming they contracted cargo insurance so I thought it was ok. After working for over a month and completing my probationary period, I was essentially ghosted by the company and never received any more packages or payment. They never answered my emails and the phone number given to me was no longer in service. The website is no longer active either.
