Message popped on the computer that stated the computer needed to be cleaned. It would cost $250.00 to be cleaned. Paid the money and then after getting my computer back there is so much "stuff" put on the computer from them.

My mother received a pop up on her computer to call an 800 number because her computer had been affected with viruses. They told her that she needed to subscribe to their services to keep her computer protected. I believe they were able to get into her computer and disable her anti virus software and create all the pop ups. I did have my mom dispute these charges with her CC company.

Malware or spyware ended up on a computer. It gives their number to fix it. I called them and they wanted money to fix the computer to remove the malware they put on it.
