I receive mailings from this (criminal) company, calling themselves Yellow Book, all the time. On initial inspection these might look like an invoice, but in fact are just marketing ploys that are order forms to have my business listed. I always shred those immediately.

Yesterday, 1/31/2020, I received an official invoice for $498.81 from this "company" Yellow Book, for supposedly ordering service last week. I did not. This is a scam. I have never purchased, ordered or authorized this ridiculous "service" . Why would I? My business info pops up with any simple Google or Yelp search for free. And the price is outrageous. These people should be charged for attempted theft.

The "invoice" states due date is 2/16/2020 and they will charge 1.9% interest for "late fees".

Fake bill received from "Yellow Book" for the amount of $498.81 for a "two year BOLD listing". 100% positive that no agreement was ever made with this company verbal or otherwise because they do not even have our company listed in the correct category. Further, we do not have any interest in a bold listing or any listing in the yellow book or yellow pages etc. Spoke with a representative from the real company Yellow Book, associated with Hibu marketing, who verified that we have no account in their system.

Yellow Book has sent me an actual invoice for $498.81 for a Two Year BOLD listing in whatever they print or don't print or publish. It also states there is a 1.9% interest fee on late payments. They did not contact my company, nor have we agreed or signed up for anything. This type of scam is decades old - even before the internet existed for the general public. These companies would send an invoice under $500 because those don't typically need additional approvals, and accounting would just push those through processing.

I've received an Postal mail, which dated July/05/2017, stated that there was an amount of $497.87 due on July/28/2017 for the transaction on 06/28/2017 for 1 year BOLD LISTING on Yellow Book.

I've never contact Yellow Book for any services before nor I received any offer or agreement to list my business on Yellow Book.

I've call them on 7/30/2017, but it went to the voicemail system.

I think this is a scam and want to report this incident.

Hello. I'm the Office Manager for *** *** *** and today we received a very generic looking invoice that has multiple errors on it. Issued Date: has an account number listed; New Charges: has a future date listed; Revision Date in upper box says 09/22/2016 but in the bottom tear off portion it says 10/22/2016. When you call the number listed it's a voicemail and when you look up the remit to address on Google Maps you see a very rundown building. I attached a copy of the false invoice for your records. And just to be totally clear... I contacted Yellow Pages or YP to verify this was not an account of theirs and it wasn't. The person who's sending out these false invoices is using Yellow Pages symbol in an effort to look legit.

Received statement for Yellow page ad that was never ordered, no prior contacts. Clearly pulled my name and address from Virginia professional licensing bureau. Statement gave "date sold", June 16, 2016, but they had never contacted me and if they had I would have dealt with them anyway.

We contacted the ScamPulse.com before about this invoice from "Yellow Book" in Bulgaria and were told that it was indeed a scam. We still get the invoice just about every year. We are alerting you again because we don't want to continue getting this invoice from this scam place and feel that it is harassment . This time we got three invoices in the same day!

Yellow book stated that I have an ad with them and sent me a bill for $581.00 when I do not have a practice or placed an ad in the yellow book

Received invoice in the mail from someone who claimed to be Yellow Book requesting payment for a 2-year listing. We never signed up for any listing with Yellow Book so I called the phone number listed on the invoice to inquired and was sent to a voicemail twice (never got to speak to a real person). I was a little suspicious that a big company like Yellow Book wouldn't have enough people answering or returning phone calls so I googled Yellow Book and called a different phone #. The rep I spoke with was Nico working for Hibu Business that handles Yellow Book accounts, and he said that he didn't see any account associated with our store (makes sense because we never signed up for one). He asked me to forward a copy of the invoice to [email protected], and after verifying with a couple of different departments, determined that the invoice did not originate from Yellow Book...it was a scam from someone who was pretending to be Yellow Book.

I have a free listing in yellowbook for my magic show. I received a bill from a company claiming to be yellowbook, it said I owed $491.88 for a 1 year bold listing.I did not request this. Tried calling the number several times, each time getting a recording that all operators are busy. I went on the computer, found a different number for yellowbook, so I called. They checked the account number on the bill, did not match anything. I gave them the billing address on the bill, not theirs. Also my show starts with Dr., and the category they had my ad under was Physicians and surgeons.

I received a bill from Yellow Book (address = 477 Peace Portal Drive, Suite 107-442, Blaine, WA 98230 with a postage cancellation stamp from "Tampa, FL 335" and "Saint Petersburg, FL" dated "25 APR 2015 PMG L")saying that my business had ordered a listing and that I now owed $494.89 for 1 year or $789.71 for two years. I have had no previous dealings with this company and have never ordered anything from them. I checked out the address and it is a mail box apparently rented through Blaine Mailboxes Plus (360-332-1816 - neither is a registered corporation in the state of Washington). Phone number for "Yellow Book" is 888-958-0527 and FAX is 888-812-7003. Found this scam on the FTC website, targeting doctors' offices.

I received a bill from Yellow Book saying that I had ordered a listing and that I now owed $494.89 or $690.81. I have had no previous dealings with this company and have never ordered anything from them.
