We received a fax from Yellow Pages Inc, Bulgaria, Varna, Vinitsa 9022, P O Box 4. Outsourced Billing Department. It had an invoice that stated amount owed (way less then the Real Yellow Pages charged us). Stated "PAYABLE IMMEDIATELY" and "This file is referred to DEBT COLLECTORS, INC."

We received this fax 3 times in one day and again 3 days later. I have called Yellow Pages (the real one) and verified we do not owe them.

Also, the header on the fax did not show the number that the fax came from but rather our own fax number. I ran a fax log and the number the fax came from was 613-691-1347 & 613-691-1348.

I could mail you the fax but can't get an image of it to attach.

This scam was sent to our business via fax. It does not list our business name anywhere on the fax, but it does list our fax number at the top of the page just as any other document would that is sent this way. It lists contract pricing for a 1 year term and a 2 year term. It also lists comments like "LAST CHANCE TO KEEP YOUR CREDIT SCORE IN GOOD STANDING!!!" The supposed "bill" looks as though we are being charged for Facebook and Twitter features. It asks us to mail the payment immediately and that the payment requires international postage. The only contact number for the scammer is their fax number. Even the address seems Illegitimate being as it appears to be a PO box. It even uses the Yellow Pages official logo at the top of the document. We have not received any other documentation, phone calls, emails or letters in the mail; just this one sheet on our fax machine.

Never contacted them, never asked for a business listing on their directory, just received a fake invoice out of the blue that has been pending for twelve months.

Phone call was received week of 04/18/2016. The gentleman on the line insisted that our company had an outstanding bill of 779.95 that needed to be paid. He had the incorrect contact information for the mailing address and was trying to reach the past marketing director.

It was explained to the man, I have no record of paying invoices in the past nor do I have a signed contract. If a contract could be produced, I would look it over. If the contract was valid, we would have further discussion. Until the documents could be produced, he was wasting my time.

The number was private and he didn't give his name.

on 04/30/2016 at 2:32 AM, a fax came through. It was a fake bill, threatening debt collection. The payment address is:

We receive faxes marked as Yellow Pages Inc from Singapore, and I have repeatedly sent faxes back declining interest in their listings. I recently received an invoice in the amount of $494.96 from the business, and we have never done business with this company. I tried to call the phone number 1-800-615-5399 and a recording comes back with "791 the number you dialed is not in service." I would like to ensure other individuals are not being taken advantage of by these "collection warning" false invoices.
