Do not give these people any info about your personal life same thing happened to my daughter when a job they ask her for SSI / DL and asking for the phone carrier account number ask her for a pre paid Apple Card this is a scam stay away from this company run away turn them down

It started when I saw a post on the local Moms Facebook page under the name Taylor Qu. The page overall is mostly informative for neighborhood moms. She posts about remote job offers with YellowFin Business Intelligence for data entry, cust. service for 30/hr, to message her for more info. I looked up the company and it looks legit. I messaged her and she told me she was a mom, working with them for the last 5 years, works great with the family and she would connect me through skype with the hiring manager for a text interview. The skype mobile numbers under the call were +12085173266 & +19866898146. So now the said hiring manager, Anita Wood, said she was age 47 and working for the company for 10 years. That we would begin the interview process. She went through explaining the company and the job offers, what I would be interested in applying for, etc. It sounded like a legitimate interview. Following by giving her time to review the interview they would start me off with a week of paid training or more if needed and then followed by gathering my contact info and a picture of my state ID. Then I was emailed from [email protected] with the contract and W-2. Followed by checking in at 8 am for further instructions. The next day, I was told due to the COVID care act, they would help pay down $2650 of whatever card debt I had to be able to have a clean slate to start and purchase cards to get the equipment needed. I was hesitant but thought why would a scammer pay the debt, I stupidly gave my JetBlue card login and they paid off my balance which was only about 2400. Next, I was asked to get an eBay gift card to handle the tracking or shipping of the equipment I was supposed to get to start, I found this weird and questioned it but she told me, this is the procedure. I hadn't had a remote job before and maybe this was in fact true. Next was the apple gift cards to purchase equipment and software they would send out to me to start training. This didn't sound right and I questioned it but between them paying my card and the reassurance of reimbursement, $2650 was asked, I told them I could no longer do this if more purchases needed to be made. They said they would process and ship the equipment out the next day Monday, 01/16. Monday, she just told me she would update me on what was going on, and I would get equipment by that week and start. By that evening when asked to set up an IRA for payment, my heart sank. I knew then I was truly being scammed and stopped communicating. I already have a full-time job and was just looking to pick up a little extra money to pay down debt and now not only did I increase it, but my identity was also compromised and my credit card supposedly paid off, the payment was reversed and Experian closed my account. I hope I did enough to protect my identity. Now stuck with more debt than I started with. I'm so sad.
