I was looking for a local company and located yourmoveloaders.com, honestly looking back now I just feel stupid so many red flags but I was rushing due to a family health issue being reason for move. I located on craigslist, looked at website, read reviews, got a quote online and on the phone, company wanted a deposit of half the move to secure the date. The credit card payment for the deposit would not go through because my husband had to approve a charge for $1317.80. Then the company asked for a wire transfer, yes like an [censored] I did it. Now the company is requesting the entire payment ($2700) prior to the move be paid in full by Monday or we loose booking. The company changed hours of operation saying they are available 24/7 to talk which does not match website, and when I refused to pay the second part of the money no contact back from the company. Being in a rush to get this done solo, I overlooked red flags and feel so stupid it seemed legit and I thought I did research but I didn't thoroughly look into the company to the degree I should have.
