I got a call from them wanting to rent or sell my defunct timeshare. With a mild Spanish accent, he said his name was Larry "wiser-man" which when I later asked him to spell it, it came out as "Wasserman". He gave me a website to look them up of www.dos.ny.gov which did not contain the information he said I'd find there. It was clearly a scam in the making. When I said "I thought you said your name was Wiserman, he hung up as he knew I'd figured it out.
