My boyfriend found this website while searching for golden retriever puppies. He inquired about a certain pup and was sent a questionnaire to fill out. questions seemed legit; have you ever owned a golden, are you a breeder or plan on breeding, do you have a vet close by, so you promise to provide pictures so we can see how she is doing. I answered the questions and they said they would send me a bill of sale, which i would sign and send back and then they would send me the pay pal info to send the $800, $650 for the dog and $150 for shipping. The name on the bill of sale was Lian Butcher, 3331 Carlson Dr, dallas Tx, 75235 but the pay pal account was [email protected]. that set off a big red flag. I asked why the name was different and he said that is because that is the name on the account. Even though, I had a red flag, I still tried to proceed with payment. Thank goodness Pay Pal denied my payment, for what I dont know. He did want me to send a picture of the transaction after it went through, which was weird. I was asking him questions and telling him I was trying to get my payment to go through, trying to get a better read of the situation. I asked for a video of her and he sent one but again just had a feeling in my gut. My communication was only through text and he ended many sentences with the word, okay. He told me delivery would be 24 hours after payment, he would handle delivery arrangements tonight. Again, seemed like a fairly quick time to get a flight. Of course, in my hesitation to pay he tells me that another family just put their payment in for the puppy. I then googled the area code and see it is for Miami and I did a google earth search of the house and it is a 2 bedroom house in a suburban area. Nothing like the property in the website photos. Not sure 100% if this is a scam but enough to not make my payment.
