An ad came up on Instagram for some face cream. It was $7 so I bought it. It showed up pretty quickly. It was a thin lotion, not a luxurious face cream so it was worth $7. A short time later I saw a charge on my account for $139 from the same company. I went back to my email confirmation looking for contact information from this company. There was none. I Googled the company and there is no contact information for them anywhere on the internet. Only other articles of other people having the same large charge come off of their accounts and not being able to contact this company. The only thing you can find online is a Facebook page that does not allow you to leave messages does not allow you to post a message does not allow you any direct contact as they are not interested in talking directly to anyone. About four or five days after the transaction posted my account, my bank helped me to find a phone number to reach out to the debiter. I called and reached a customer service number where they hung up on me the first four times acting as though they could not hear me. The fifth time I called I got a woman on the line who told me that they would refund me 35% of the fraudulent charge if I wanted the money back right now otherwise I would have to wait nearly an hour to speak to a supervisor. I told her no I wanted all of the money back as they did not have permission to take any other charges out of my account. She then offered me 50% of MY MONEY back if I wanted it back right now otherwise I'd have to wait to speak to a supervisor. I said this is how I know you all are a scam. You want me to settle for having just some of my money stolen from me. I told her I wanted to speak with her supervisor and what she did instead was transferred me to a voicemail and disconnected my call. This is a scam.
