Type of a scam Online Purchase
After checkout, I received a confirmation email that contains details that shipping label was created. However, I was never provided any more details about a tracking number or history. After a few days of watching the Mail and checking PayPal, I tried to go back to the site I purchased TV from, but it wouldn’t load. I could not even access through Google.
I immediately reported the scam to PayPal. Again, I assumed this would help because their protection promise says you can open a dispute if your order never arrives. However, the seller provided PayPal a tracking number that shows package was delivered. Because the scammer technically shipped the package and the tracking number marked it as delivered, PayPal rejected my claims.
