Clicked on an ad about Oscar's, and a loud beeping immediately sounded with a pop-up window stating my computer had been compromised by malware. It further stated I should not touch the computer at all, but should phone a number for Microsoft computer repair. After approximately 2 hours on the phone, being asked to type various things into the computer, giving personal data and credit card numbers, the beeping stopped. I was not told the price--$600.00--until after I had provided credit card info. After this, I doubted the authenticity of this "Zavions" company, and called credit card companies to withhold payment. I continued to receive phone calls from Zavions from several different numbers for more than 24 hours. I answered only one to say I was aware they were a scam, & they should quit phoning.

I was on my computer when a pop-up appeared that stated it was a company that was associated with Microsoft an that it needed my to contact a 1-800 number. when I called the number they had stated to me that I had to pay a fee of 250$ to remove the virus/malware/spyware from my computer in order for it to work again properly. They had provided me with false authentication ID number and fake association to Microsoft that I had believed they were a reputable business.
