Then I received an envelope from someone named Kim Elliott, which I've not yet opened. Based on her emails it contains a check that I am to deposit, and then I am supposed to use cash to buy GIFT CARDS then photograph them and send them to her. This seems like a scam.
So far I have received 3 emails from someone named Kim Elliott who never replies when I ask for more info:
