I was also given the physical location of an "assistance office" located at 630 Plaza Dr., Suite 200, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129-2379. An online search of that building finds that ZECH-Group does not have an office listed there. I was told this job was to support a new office opening in Stamford, CT on 9-22-2024.
I then linked into a chat on Teams with Mr. Baumgartner who proceeded to interview me with what seemed like legitimate questions and working web links to https://www.zech-group.com/en/. After I completed the interview, which took 3 hours and was done solely through Teams chat, I was told I had the job. I was then asked how I would like to be paid, weekly or bi-weekly. I was then asked for my bank's name. At this point, I blocked the interviewer.
His Teams profile lists the email [email protected]. There is a Christian Baumgartner on Linked-In that has the same profile picture as the person I was talking to in Teams. I could find no information on ZECH-Group being a scam, but searching online has revealed this is a common way of scamming someone in this manner.
