Please bear with me as I try to tell this story. On January 16th I was googling Closing Companies to use to close on the home we are living in. After careful thought I choose ZEEK Title Company. Everything looked legitimate so I signed a contract and put 5000.00 in escrow to close. I stayed in contact with the company and they stayed in contact with me.
Yesterday I tried to contact them to set up a date to close and learned that they had shut down totally. All phone numbers and email stopped working. I immediately contacted the police and filed a report. We are out 5000.00 and have no idea how we are going to close on our home. The owner has given us till March 30th to close. If we don’t close by then we are basically homeless. We have been living in the home since July 2nd 2020.
Please help us so others don’t fall into the same trap as I did. I am picking up a copy of the police report and can send it to you later this morning. Please help us we are desperate.
